Scheduled migration of C2 server [completed] 2024-02-15 [17.03.2024] The transfer is complete. We are still going through the functionality of the sites and fixing any problems. We will check all potentially malfunctioning sites one by one. If you encounter any problems after the transfer, please contact our customer service. The address of server c2.suncomet.fi points to the new server. COMMON PROBLEMS If you encounter a MySQL/mysqli error, please check in the control panel (cPanel) that the PHP version and modules (PHP version) is selected under nd_mysqli or mysqli module. We will go through these as soon as possible. If you encounter 500 errors, please check the Errors page in the cPanel to see what PHP errors your site is generating. If you encounter a Forbidden (403) error, check the File Manager page in the control panel (cPanel) that the files and directories under the public_html directory have permissions such as 755. This can also be checked with FTP/SFTP connections. NOTE! The IP address of the server and domains has changed! New IP address: 37.27.110.171 If you use external name servers, you must update your domain name server settings with a new IP address after the transfer has been completed. The domain names on our name servers are updated automatically. TRANSFER UPDATE HISTORY [21:45] The transfer is complete. A few individual accounts are being re-transferred. We are currently reviewing the functionality of the sites and correcting any problems. [20:55] The transfer is now complete. ADVANCE NOTICE OF TRANSFER Preliminary announcement 15.02.2024 The accounts on the C2 server will be moved to the new server from 15.03.-18.03.2024. The transfer will start on 15.03.2024 at 16.00. The old C2 server will no longer receive updates to its operating system after June 2024, so a migration to a new server is necessary. The new server will also improve the security and stability of the services. In addition, the new server will be significantly more efficient, which will be reflected in improved page load speeds. The new server is located in the Finnish data centre. The transfer normally requires no action from customers and the expected downtime per site is 30 to 90 minutes. The transfer of each account will take place in alphabetical order between 15.03.-18.03.2024. We will update this bulletin as the transfer progresses. If you encounter any problems after the transfer, please contact our customer service. The transfer will not transfer any logs or backups of your account. However, it is possible to retrieve them for 30 days from the old server. The IP address of the server and domains will change!
